One-dish meal
Healthy one-dish meal (serves two):
Ingredients:
1. Beef tenderloin/ Beef (200g)
2. Salt (a pinch)
3. Red wine (30ml)
4. Capsicum (half a capsicum, thinly sliced)
5. Wholemeal bread (four slices)
6. Mustard
7. Broccoli (one flower, cut)
Reasons why it's a healthy one-dish meal:
1. Beef gives you protein
2. Wholemeal bread provides you with healthy carbohydrates. Wholemeal bread is higher in fibre content compared to normal white bread.
3. Red wine flavours the beef naturally and is a healthy alternative to seasonings or sauces
4. Broccoli and Capsicum provide fibre, vitamin and nutrients
The above provide a complete nutritious meal that meets all requirements of the suggested daily food intake.
